Hello! Welcome back! All classes went over the ACT explore results. Be looking for your son or daughter to bring home their results to share with you!

Math: Students also finished the benchmark after they went over their ACT results.

Science: A couple of important dates: Wednesday Feb. 6th at the end of class is when the projects are due (I won't take them late unless a student is absent today, tomorrow or Wed.) Also, their work 1/2 sheets are due tomorrow at the beginning of class (students receieved this last Thursday). I also took up Bellringers from last week. Students are having a quiz on Newton's 2nd law, Work and Power practice a week from today, Monday February 12th. This quiz along with the project will equal a test grade on Ch. 19 and 20.

Social Studies: Mr. Colegrove is pleased to announce that Mr. Anastasio will be taking over this Wednesday! The 5 W's on how the constitution of 1872 was formed is due Wednesday the 6th. Students will be taking the second benchmark tomorrow in the computer lab.

Reading: Went over ACT explore tests and Mrs. Bates shared some testing strategies with the students. Don't forget to do your A.R. test (the end of the 6 weeks is next week and who knows if we will be here due to the weather we have had!) Also, don't forget to do your nightly reading and put it in your AR log.

English: Mr. Whitt went over the ACT explore results with students; no homework.

I hope that everyone enjoyed their day off on Friday. Have a great evening and good luck to our students who are playing tonight in the tournament!
