Happy Friday:
WV Studies-  Students completed the information for the last 3of our 10 explorers.  We will finish up the explorers on Monday.  No homework except for the Pioneer project due Feb. 7. 

Reading - We are still working on the biographical essay.  Many students will have homework over the weekend because this essay MUST befinished in class by the end of class period on Monday.  Missing so much school will result in more homework in the future.  ENJOY THE SNOW TOMORROW!

Science- Today we finished our flipbooks. We added two pictures to the last tab of the flipbook. Students finished their two west coast volcanoes with 5 facts each. They are due the next day we come back to school (which may be Monday) :) Homework: Finish flipbooks

Language arts - Students made up vocaublary quizzes. Discussed summarization and paraphrasing. Some classes were able to work on paraphrasing and summarizing examples.
