Hello, Happy Monday to ya! Here are your class updates:

Science: Today we took a pre-assessment on Plate Tectonics and Continental Drift. We then did an add and pass activity. Students came into lunch today to makeup their post-assessments from Friday. Tomorrow is the last day. There is no homework tonight!

Math:  Students have homework - Worksheet 1 solving equations, needs to be finished for class tomorrow.  Tuesday will be Worksheet 2 and Wed. that will have WS 3. 

*** Students will have a test on Friday in math***    be prepared.

WV Studies-  We are doing a unit on exploration and settlement.  Right now, we are covering the explorers.  We are completing a chart.  We will cover 10 explorers, then the students will have a graded assignment on that information.  They will also get a grade for their completed chart.  Pioneer projects are due Feb. 2.   I will post a link to my blog with the directions later this evening. 

Language arts: Students received their vocabulary list. Quiz will be Tuesday, January 21 instead of the Friday the 17th as it says on the paper. Students continued typing essays today in computer lab. Tomorrow is the last day they will have the majority of class time to type. It is due Wednesday, the 15th.
