Hello and Happy Monday to ya!

Science: Today we did an add and pass on Bill Nye: Eyeballs. FOR HOMEWORK: Students will add a 5 complete sentence summary on what they learned and turn it in before the bell tomorrow. Also, we are doing the sheep eyeball dissection on Thursday. Students are NOT permitted to wear open-toed shoes or shorts/skirts. They MUST have long pants on and shoes that cover their feet. If they don't dress appropriately (or get in trouble this week), they will do an alternate assignment.

Reading:  We started the movie about The Diary of Anne Frank today.  Don't forget the vocabulary test this Friday.  Many students did NOT complete their first AR Test for this nine weeks.  If not done this week it will be a ZERO!

Language arts: Westest practice in the computer lab. No homework.

WV Studies-  Continued with the lesson on the creation of WV and the Civil War.  Students took notes today and will do group presentations on a Civil War Battle tomorrow.
