WV Studies- Today students turned in their 100 point folders and took the test for Ms. Miller finishing up her unit. Pioneer project due dates- Pioneer projects will be due from Monday Nov. 3 to Friday Nov. 14 Students will be given an opportunity to sign up for a day in that window. Students will need to bring their project and present on that day. If they fail to bring it that day, the late policy will start that day and they will have to bring it in to present during noon detention.
Monday- we will start the creation of the new nation.
Language arts: Students took their vocabulary quiz. Finished comics (hopefully). If students have internet access at home and are working independently on their comic, it'd be great if they could finish it there. We aren't going to be spending more class time on it. Students can email it to me at Awhitt@access.k12.wv.us ...no homework other than that.
8th period - Vocab quiz. Need to have read to page 50 or 53, depending on which way they are reading on their iPad, by Monday.
Science: Students turned in their projects by the end of class. Quite a few students weren't familiar with iMovie. The project directions stated that students needed to pick something that they were familiar with. I would look at iMovie and become more familiar with it for use in the future. I look forward to grading your projects! No homework unless if you were absent and need to finish your project! Also, I will be grading the notes so make sure that yours are completed!
Reading: Homework if they did not finish Edgar Allen Poe work in class.
Have a great weekend!!!
