Hello all! I hope that everyone is ready for D.C.! Note: Almost all of us are going on the D.C. trip, so it is the student's responsibility to get their work while we are gone. I am posting what we are doing all this week in my class.
Science (Wednesday, Thursday and Friday): We did some practice and started our Waves scavenger hunt. It is due halfway through class tomorrow for those who are not going to D.C. D.C. students will have time on Monday to finish it. Tomorrow, students are doing a 24.1 notes interactive worksheet on waves. It is homework if they don't finish. Friday: Students will turn in their bellringers (copies of the agenda/bellringers can be found here on my website. Students will continue practicing for wave speed, frequency and wavelength. If they still don't understand, they can watch the vimeo video found here.
English: Today students began their final drafts of the flashback story. Students need to finish them the next couple of days if they are not on the DC trip.
Social Studies: Glass and Chemical Industry; glass poster due MOnday if not finished today.
Reading: Nothing to report from Mrs. Bates
Math: Mr. Mann will post information later.
I hope that everyone has a great week. Send us good thoughts for great weather and safe travels!
~Mrs. Conner
