Thursday:

WV Studies:  Students finished notes on the pioneers, got the pioneer project assignment which will be due sometime in November and will be worth 200 points.  I will post the due date and instructions later.  Then we began the French and Indian War.

Math:   Math 8  Students began work on 6 real world math problems.
Math 1 -  Worked on lesson 4 vocabulary and started U2-97.

Science: We are still working on "settings" section of the iPad. I think we will be done either tomorrow or Monday. Today was a very productive day! Students set up "Do Not Disturb" times, notifications settings, and Bluetooth (to name a few). We also talked about digital citizenship and safety when using public WiFi's. Here is a tip from one of our students: Turn 'Airplane" mode on when charging the iPad. It will charge faster! NO HOMEWORK!

Language arts: Read/discussed article on turtle extinction through New-O-Matic app. Continued argumentative essays. Students will have time to work on their papers tomorrow in class. Right now, it is looking like they will be due on Thursday, October 2nd. No homework tonight.

Reading:  If you did not finish your informational text assignment with the newspaper, its homework.

Go Panthers!!!
