Great assembly today for fall sports and academics

WV Studies:  Today we continued with the formation of the constitution.  Tomorrow we will finish and go on to the structure and function of the legislative branch of the national government.  The Ch. 5 test will be next Friday the first of November.

Reading:  Students had a test on "the Monkey's Paw "and "The Third Wish".  Although they are not all graded yet, it seems that they did a very good job with these stories.  We will be presenting our Vocabulary Words tomorrow and then starting Informational Text.

Language Arts:   Mr. Whitt had a substitute today, students worked today and will work tomorrow on their persuasive essays (The Governor of WV has said that he is outlawing fast food. Students need to chose a side--for/against) This assignment will be due at the end of class tomorrow.

Math:   Continued assignment from yesterday, no homework.

Science: Students turned in their RAFT assignments...tomorrow is half credit (I will have a sub so make sure you turn it in--folder on my desk). We also took a fun RAFT quiz and turned it in. NO HOMEWORK! Good luck for football tonight! Go panthers!

Good luck football team, have a great evening.
