To whom it may concern:
Language arts: Began rough drafts for second narrative essay. Students will have an opportunity to type their final drafts each of the next three school days.
WV Studies- Today Mrs. Gleason came in and went over the students ACT Explore test results. The ACT Explore is a precursor to the ACT Plan which they take in 10th grade and the the actual ACT for college entrants. Students are bringing these home today so ask to see how they did. Tomorrow we pick up with exploration. Yesterday, I gave instructions for their pioneer projects, I will post a link to the instructions tomorrow on the blog. Due dates for the project is by Feb. 7.
Science: I went over the half sheet for the post-assessment quiz tomorrow. Students have already taken this quiz (at the beginning). It is worth 25 points and along with their project (40 points) it will equal a test grade.
Math: Played Math Bingo- no homework.
Reading - Substitute teacher - see tomorrow's post.
Have a great evening!
