Hello there detectives! Mrs. Conner here and what a fantastic job you all did on solving the case of Wayne and Rachel Rutherford! As promised, here is what really happened......

Wayne was an alien. The end.

Just kidding! Actually any of the scenarios you came up with could explain what really happened to the couple. The beauty about this activity is that there isn't a definite answer. Each check we pulled out of the envelope just led to more questions. Science is a lot like this. When we are trying to find an answer to a problem, too often our results aren't that easy to explain. Many times we are left scratching our heads.

So, yes! I mislead each and every one of you ON PURPOSE! Mwahaha! You had fun...admit it!
There is a JV football game at Duvall today and a varsity game tomorrow at home vs. Hurricane, 7pm. There is also a cross country meet this Saturday at Cabell Midland. Vollyball starts up next week so be looking for those updates soon! Here are your daily assignments and reminders!

Reading: 5th, 7th, and 8th period have a test TOMORROW on the short story "A Broken Chain". Make sure to be reading and getting your agenda signed (they will be checked friday)!
