Wednesday, January 7, 2015

Hello! Here are your class updates:

Science: Today students turned in their study guides. Quite a few students will not be doing the lab tomorrow due to not doing the study guide in the first place. Doing a lab is a privilege and the alternate assignment will be worth as many points as the lab. Students could also come in to check out a copy of the study guide answers (they used them in class). Tomorrow is the lab so students need to study for the test Friday! No school tomorrow? Test is still Friday!

WV Studies-  Today we talked about their goals and how preparation for their last test didn't match many of their goals ( 1-A, 1-B, 3-c's, 8-D's and the rest failing grades)  We did an exercise on how to write a good test essay question answer, and then frayer models for vocabulary on coal.  no homework today.

Reading:  Students need to know 5 more vocabulary words. TEST Friday.  7th and 8th period have 1-35 finished on worksheet.
