I assigned a family to groups of two or three students and gave them specific information they would need to have in order to present to the class. There is no homework and students will have tomorrow (half the class period), to work on it before sending it to my email (blupton@k12.wv.us). Those who didn't feel like they could get it done by tomorrow were encouraged to do research and get information tonight to use tomorrow.

Students did 3 questions after reading pg. 381 in the book and then made a poster from p. 382 (most of students got pretty far in the assignment). Students did a paragraph based off of the timeline on p. 383. Since students were unable to take their book home, I am guessing that they may have extra time tomorrow to complete the assignment.
