Hello students! Welcome back! Here are your class updates:

Science: I gave students their 6 weeks grade and let them know how many missing assignments that they had (students were able to see a connection between missing assignments and the grade percentage). Students turned in their RAFTS before the bell and 23 out of 108 students didn't turn them in (this doesn't include those who were absent). Good job to those who turned it in on time! Tomorrow the RAFT is half credit maximum and I won't take it late after that seeing that I gave a day and a half before break and all break to get it done. Students got into their bigger groups to do the jigsaw (the experts taught the rest of the group.) They will have some time tomorrow to finish. No homework.

Math: Finish Math problems

Social Studies: I didn't get a chance to talk with Mr. Colegrove....post in comments if you have homework

Reading: Scholastic News; No homework

English: Students did character comparisons and did questions. Students only had homework if they didn't finish them in class.

Many of us are getting sick or are getting over the "ickies" from break. Be sure to wash your hands frequently and stay away from those who are sick.
