Hello, here are your class updates:

Science: There will be a test on CH. 24 a week from today (April 18th). The study guides will be due Wednesday before and on the day of the test. Today, we went over the parts of the eye, prepared for the sheep eye dissection tomorrow and finished the parts of the ear worksheet (which is homework if you didn't finish). Also, students should wear something that they wouldn't mind getting dirty tomorrow for the dissection. Students can also watch a video on sheep eye dissections found here to prepare for the lab tomorrow.

Math: Dilations; finish what you were given in class

Reading: Read Race Against Death (Scholastic) and worked on a packet which is homework if they didn't finish

English: Discussed how culture affects literature; and went over requirements for author presentations; no homework 8th period only: Quiz on Ch. 2; workshop on Ch. 3 Quiz tomorrow so students need to read Ch. 3 tonight.

Social Studies: Coal; no homework
